| If your department is sponsoring a conference, we can tape the entire event, capture highlights into an edited 10-minute video or you can select specific excerpts of keynote addresses, for example. We can document your groundbreakings, ribbon cuttings and commencement exercises and provide the footage to the networks in a format they can air. Our multi-cam package can capture the event from many different perspectives, giving the viewer a better sense of its scope.
All requests are handled on a first come, first serve basis.

We can assist faculty members who are interested in utilizing video as a visual aid, by taping re-enactments, demonstrations, or guest lecture material that can be used in the classroom or on the web. Promotions

| We can help you promote your project or department by creating a short video outlining your program with insightful statistics, creative shots, and informative interviews. You can also use on-camera or voice-over talent to give your presentation an effective
and more professional feel. Let us help increase your exposure and secure more donor, student, faculty, community and corporate participation. Commercials and PSAs can also be created for pre-exposure to your Wayne State event. We use high-end equipment so you will receive broadcast quality results.

Documentaries

Are you performing ethnographic studies or research that would lend itself to video documentation? We can document your research in a format that would work both for archival purposes and airing on network television. We have created award winning documentaries that air currently on both PBS and cable television. We'll apply the same standards to your historical document. All requests are handled on a first come, first serve basis. |

| We can document your research, create video vignettes to be used within it, or tape scenarios to help illustrate the key points. Video as supplemental material has a wide variety of uses to enhance any research endeavor. |

| Streaming | ||
| You may want to reach more people with your content than conventional methods allow. Streaming allows you to take your video content and put it on the Internet. There are two ways to view media (such as video, audio, animations, etc) on the Internet and that's through downloading and streaming. With streaming, the end user can start watching the file almost as soon as it begins downloading. With downloading, you download a file and the entire file is saved on your computer (usually in a temporary folder), which you then open and view.
We can help you determine the best streaming format for your needs and walk you through the entire process from taping to website. We can stream an event live to the Internet or stream the footage from a previously taped event. All requests are handled on a first come, first serve basis.

University Television is also available to any university entity for consulting needs. Questions regarding video or audio recording, editing, or anything else pertaining to media productions are always welcome. We'd be happy to offer any advice that will help you with your project or discuss new technologies and how they can be integrated into media solutions. This service is free of charge as availability allows.
